"Time passes faster in the mountains than it does at sea level." This is a quote from Carlo Rovelli’s book 'The order of time'. It basically means that someone in the mountains ages faster than someone at sea level. This felt so weird to me that I wanted to show this idea of different time speeds at different places in space.
In this VR installation you see and hear a metronome ticking. While you walk backwards time changes as if you walk into your own past. Your view changes and slowly disrupt the connection with the ticking realtime sound of the metronome.
